Warranty
Every Rain Buddy system that is installed by and registered to Rain Buddy Incorporated comes with a two-year parts and labor included written warranty. The warranty covers all components Except for filters.
Exceptions are:
- The warranty applies only to the original registered owner. If the registered Rain Buddy is re-sold the warrantee is void.
- The Rain Buddy must be in the its original state, as installed by Rain Buddy Inc. No unauthorized modifications are allowed. If unauthorized modifications have been implemented, the warrantee is void.
- This warranty applies to below ground installations only.
- Above ground installations come with a two-year parts and labor warrantee, however, the warrantee is void if the tank has ruptured due to freezing. Above ground installations must be disconnected in the fall to prevent possible damage due to freezing. Rain Buddy Inc, does offer a disconnect / re-connect service if an owner does not wish to perform this function themselves. The disconnect / re-connect service includes filter cleaning and inspection.
- Filters must be cleaned or replaced on a quarterly basis. Failure to do so will void the warranty. Rain Buddy offers a quarterly filter inspection service.
